Nasal Pillows-Success At Last!

Posted by Deborah on August 24, 2000 at 21:29:07:

Have been on BiPap for 3 mos, and finally slept thru the night for the first time last night. I have been thru several different masks with no luck. I've been using the ADAM for the past two mos but have never made it thru the night until now. The mask would always move up too high into my nose as I slept, & then I would be getting no air. At that point after waking innumerable times I would mess around with it & then usually rip the damn thing off. I was using the small pillows & decided to try the mediums that I had in a drawer & voila it worked! So, if you're trying a nasal pillow setup, get a couple sizes of pillows. When I tried the mediums on when they brought the mask, they seemed way too big--glad I didn't give them the boot. Here's hoping it works again tonight!
