Sleep apnea and glaucoma

Posted by Pattycake324 on August 26, 2000 at 10:01:49:

In the current issue of the Berkeley Wellness Letter there is an article on glaucoma and it states "some suspected though still theoretical causes of glaucoma: insufficient blood supply to the optic nerve, low blood pressure and sleep apnea". It goes on to say "And if you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, you should be tested for glaucoma". Has anyone had that experience from your sleep docs?? Mine has not said a word.
