The article I read explained that there are 3 different tests for glaucoma. The tonometer is the "puff test" (my slang) that blows a short burst of air at your eye and measures pressure. The two other tests are one to measure your peripheral vision and the other to check the optic nerve. The "puff test" can check the pressure but some people can have pressure within the normal range and yet have glaucoma and others have I pressure and not develop glaucoma. Again, this info in a short article in the Berkeley Wellness Letter which has a website which doesn't use the name of the town. I don't recall reading anything about glaucoma on the last few forums.
