When I finally got the CPAP therapy to work right (several months ago); I developed mid back problems. Muscle relaxants, back exercise, and then a memory foam pad (about $350) to put on my bed did not solve the problem (which was getting worse).

I ended up going to sleeping sitting up (in a reclined postion). For several nights slept in a reclining chiar; then rigged my bed.

As my back has gotten better I have been able to reduce the angle and am now approaching a more laying down position.
