HELP!!! ESCALATED

Posted by Duffy on September 12, 2000 at 04:57:31:

hey guys, I have a "biggie" here and hope some one can relate. You all talk about the increase in energy and I have been on CPAP 2 months now. It started slow after the 1st month and I just felt plain old GOOD...thought my life was changing after 13 years. Here's the problem. I have had 2 car accidents so I have a Traumatic Brain Injury which affects my mood stabalization at times. Prior to CPAP I could not tolerate meds, then all of a sudden I was increasing weekly thru August to control the HYPER changes in my brain. NOW I am in a what resembles a full blown MANIC episode...can't sleep, feel like I'm going to fly out the top of my head ect. Can't give up CPAP, so is there anyone else out there with a brain injury OR a mood disorder that had DRAMATIC...unbeneficial changes after starting CPAP.

feeling insane in Colorado
