The body can sometimes do "interesting" things. Don't know all the answers, you may need another pressure increase, or it is possible that your CPAP isn't working right (have it checked), mouth breathing is a possibility, etc.

One thing to try if the above dosn't work is to spend the night sleeping in a, or sitting up, position. Most OSA is partially positional with respects to laying down vs sitting up. I have found that sitting up (actually about 2/3 up) has had a major improvement on my sleep - except for the discomfort and adjustments needed to get used to that position.
