Doubt if CPAP could cause mania. It is possible that the CPAP has improved your sleep level to the point that manic tendencies that had been masked by drowsiness are now showing. I assume you are getting medical followup re your CNS/mood problems as well as the sleep eval.
What kind of meds are you now taking that you couldn't tolerate before? Would look into possible side effects/ adverse effects as well.
