I'll add my welcome to Dan's; we're glad you found the Forum!

As Dan said, we rarely realize our sleep has been disturbed in the night but our bodies know it - without a doubt!

I have severe obstructive sleep apnea - in excess of one apnea per minute; many lasting in excess of 50 seconds. I had NO idea I had a sleep disorder until the sleep study took place and, although my children and sister had mentioned snoring over the years, sleep partners never mentioned breathing cessation or snoring. This brings up a point about sleep partners - I'll post it in response to Dan's post.

As for my 'stache 'n' beard - only my electrologist knows for sure!! *grin*
