Posted by Darrell on October 20, 1998 at 12:30:22:I've been trying out the CPAP for about 2 months now. I am no longer falling asleep at the wheel, and don't feel like falling asleep at work all of the time (but still feel like it some of the time). But, I still feel lethargic during the day and don't have much energy. It seems that about every other night I turn off the machine and remove the mask in my SLEEP... I never remember doing it, and my fiance has seen me do this while still sleeping. Apparently my subconscious is rejecting the CPAP. I've tried adjusting the mask and using nasal pillows. She also told me that I've started snoring with the mask on. This doesn't surprise me since my sinuses are still usually stopped up. My Doc tells me I have a deviated septum which means I'm gonna have sinus problems.
Any suggestions?
