I agree with all Dave and Dennis have said, and I know Jo has used the breathe right strips with great success (they didn't do much for me though).

If you nose is stuffed up, you will remove the mask in your sleep. I've done the same; here are the remedies that have helped me.

1, heated humidifier
2. nasal pillows (I never remove them, only the golden seal)
3. prescription strength decongestants combined with benadryl and steroid nasal spray (again, prescription)

Without all of the above, I would not be able to use the CPAP (I know, I tried!) With them, it is just manageable.

You might also discuss this with your sleep doc and tech.

Hope you get some answers and some improvement soon

(By the way, I still sometimes snore, with my mouth closed, on cpap--it is usually when I am sleeping on my back, though)
