Crashing at night

Posted by Bunkie on October 21, 1998 at 02:37:14:

I have been on the CPAP since the 4th of Sept. Would like to say things are great but they are not. One problem I am having is falling out of the bed (yes with mask on). Sometimes I am crashing against the wall--My head can't take
too much more. Also, if I sit on pot at night I go to sleep
and have taken several head dives off pot onto the tile floor. I think the falling is going to get me before the
OSA is. I have had really bad dreams--finding myself in
a crouched position or a fetal type position. Any info from
anyone out there on what might be going on---Any suggestions
on how to stay in the bed? My wife feels my CPAP machine
must not be monitored correctly. Anyone know of a good sleep clinic I might go to in Oklahoma. I have been using my local physician and a local ENT man---but just don't know
if they have all the info they need to help me. Any responses to any or all of my problems would be greatly
appreciated.
