Fabulous Messages

Posted by Jane on October 23, 1998 at 06:16:30:

Hi all,
I just want to say that as we are waiting patiently for our daughter's testing in early Dec. We're on a cancellation list, so perhaps it will be sooner. I am reading all the posts on this board and they are fabulous. For those of you that have read my two past messages my daughter(age 22) has Down Syndrome and is having problems we think with hypoventilating at night, as well as the daytime from some informal testing so far. The sleep doctor has already indicated that she will probably be put on a machine or devise of some type. Even though she will be the patient, I will be the one making sure things are running smoothly, know what signs and problems to watch for and that is why I appreciate all this information so very much. I'll keep asking questions as I think of them, but for now I'll just keep reading. Good luck to everyone on this board...in getting the rest you all need and deserve....Jane
