I had my UPPP & Tonsilectomy just yesterday so obviously it is way, way too early to come to any conclusions. My Dr. suggested this surgery because I was not sufffering from very bad apnea, but was/is suffering from very, very loud snoring. According to him, this procedure works well with people of my situation. I also had the Nasal Turbinate procedure done three weeks ago, but there was no improvement in the snoring, which the Dr. said would be the case. However, the improvement in my breathing is fantastic so I will respond when all is healed. Although right now, my throat is so sore, I feel that I may never recover!!!
