Depending on the type of job you have, i do not see why the doctor had you out of work for 2 months.The sleep study should have evaluated the type of apnia and the titilation should have told how you would do with a cpap or bipap machine.If the machine was doing its job the surgery might not have been necessary.Many of us never missed a day from work for the sleep lab tests since they are usually done overnight in the lab.
