Most stiffness can be attributed to the fact you are not moving as much now that you are on CPAP. You are getting into a deep sleep and are staying in one position for a long period of time. For the first two months I was on CPAP I felt like I had been hit by a truck I ached so much. You should adjust it over time.

I found a very low pillow which did not lift my head very far off the mattress helped my neck a lot. If you have a large fluffy pillow it can contribute to the stiffness.
