Hole in the Law

I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that there's a big hole in the law. It seems that they can hire somebody else, since the job must be performed while you're out sick. When you come back, you can be let go because there's no work for you. It is kind of the same loophole as "permanent relacement workers." It's illegal to fire workers for striking. However, it's legal to hire permanent replacement workers, and let the strikers go for "lack of work," or just never settle the strike.
