I was terribly concerned when I knew I had to become a CPAP user. I was afraid my husband of 38 years would decide he wanted nothing more to do with me. Dumb fears! The day after night 1 he declared he could already tell I was getting a positive effect - I didn't fall asleep all day! I'm also in a much better mood all the time. He actually loves the "white noise" and says he has a hard time sleeping on business trips when he can't hear that. Besides, although it's taken me over a year, I've lost nearly 40 pounds. He says that to him that means I'll be around longer and he likes that concept. 8-) I know the testimony of and old married lady might not be what you have in mind, but I feel SO much better and my SO is a happy man ;-).
