Thank you for your reply Jane. Every thing I wrote is the truth. My company has more than 300 employees. To give you all a little background about the company they have fired people While they have been out on medical leave with a doctors note. They have demoted people under the same conditions without the employees knowing until they returned. People have been told in open meetings to quit if they don't like something by the vice-president. The company has no problem with firing someone and taking their chances in court.
As to my doctor asking for a different position, he DID and that is why he got into an arguement with the head of human resources. The company told my doctor "if they made special arraigments for every one with a medical condition they would go out of buisness". Over the last 6 yrs the company has done 3 major "house cleanings" and it looks like I am one of the next because I have this condition. It's hard enough trying to fall asleep at night let alone worring about loosing my job.
AS too narcolepsy my doctor told me that I do have it slightly. But with the results from the sleep studies he stated that the sleep apnea is more severe. He said I stop breathing 20 to 30 times a hour. He wants to operate but I have heard and read too many horror stories.
