I went to the doctors about this back in July. My Doctor is the head of the Sleep Center in my state. My results from the studies were that I stop breathing 20 to 30 time a hour. He also said I have minor narcolepsy. At the present I am using the CPAP. My doctor wants to operate, I told him that I want to get my feet wet first before I jump in. I have read and heard to many horror stories about the operation. I want to give the CPAP a chance, I have only been using it for 1 month. My biggest problem with the CPAP is getting use to it. I seem to always take off during the night. I don't know if I'm getting the full affects.
