Posted by WayCoolJr. on October 11, 2000 at 17:14:26:Hi, I have been diagnosed with severe OSA, my ENT reccomends surgery, UPPP, tonsilectomy, and septoplasty, cuz everything in my mouth is real big, and he doesn't think the CPAP will help much. However, my HMO requires that I try CPAP for at least 3 weeks just to see. When the person comes to set it up for me, what kind of questions do I need to ask? We had thought CPAP was not even a possibility until today, so I have concentrated on the surgery stuff. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you all for sharing your experiences and advice. It has been really helpful just to know that there are others like me.
