Check with your Doctor, but when I had the same surgery my Dr. said I could use liquid motrin every 4 hours. So I could take lortab then two hours later motrin, then two hours later lortab, etc. This helped me tremendously w/pain.
Check the non-cpap forum around 6-14-00, I gave details following my surgery. Tips, etc.
