Posted by Pat on October 12, 2000 at 14:15:08:AS I posted before, I need and maybe some of you need to insulat your hose to get the warm humitified air warm. I found the pipe insulation I mentioned before to work well with part of the hose, but the hose needs to be more flexable the closer it get to the mask.
I found today at a yardage store, a fabric that is used in jackets and such called windstop. It is costly if you are sewing a jacket $11.95 a yard, but I only needed 1/8th of a yard. All you have to do is sew up the side, it is 60 inches long and make anykind of closure on each end, rubber bands, elastic string anything. It is very flexable, come in lots of colors, two colors per side actually and very easy to use, now raveling or anything. Any more question e-mail me. It is very nice creates a dead air space and works very well.
