Hi barb, I hope all went well, even if wet.
Yes, the lab where my wife is a sleep tech tapes every session, even the afternoon sleep tests (sleep latency test). I have on occasion stayed in the lab for a night to observe. The doctor and the lab people refer to me as the "CPAP Poster Child". One of there better patients and helpers. It's quite interesting they just installed new Rembrandt computer systems which are amasing. The computer system is tied into the infrared camera so that if they see anything unusual on the computer the can look right at the moniter and look at the patient. The doctors can always refer back to the tapes and charts at a later date. The TV monitor sits just above the computer monitor. In the last three weeks 2 patients were in such terrible shape on the first night of testing that they were sent across the street to the hospital. I've only sat in on tittration nights. Very interesting to watch the charts as the pressure is increased to the proper level.
Life is Good!!!!
How many of us sleep with a sleep tech every night.
Good Luck,
Joe
