I saw an infomercial for a possibly similar product on TV. They did have text on the bottom of the screen saying that it was not for the treatment of sleep apnea. I forget the exact wording.
I would give a contrary opinion that some product, not necessarily this one, may help some sleep apnea, but still have a warning that it doesn't. It may be that they haven't tested it for sleep apnea, or that it helps very little, or some government edict says that they have to have a warning under certain conditions.
I tried one product that you gargle with, but if it helped, it wasn't enough. I used an audio tape recorder to test it. I made sure I could hear my normal breathing, so I'd know if I stopped. I still had apneas. I could have timed 2 or 3 apneas to see if they were any less frequent, but I only listened enough to know thet there were still frequent apneas.
One thing that was probably a mistake is that I spent a few months trying a lot of home remedies, which delayed my getting a sleep study and a CPAP. I used the tape recorder to test all of them.
As a last thought, I wonder if some product like this could make CPAP or an oral appliance more effective.
