Hey ya Bobby, how did your Dr. appt. go? I can eat non-liquid foods but it does still hurt. I can eat soft foods. I am on day 15 and I don't know who gave it the 10 day thing...My A**...sorry, but I read your post and it is so much like me. I am also semi-depressed. I went out today to my kids school for the first time to do some mentoring, was only gone a couple of hours, and boy was I tired when I got home and just doing that I lost my voice.
I am also ready to be able to eat, drink or anything, anytime and it not hurt, but I am not at that point yet. I still have my stitches.
You should look in your throat with a flashlight and see what they did.I do have a bit good news though, but for the past two nights I have slept for 7 hours straight with my CPAP on. which is great.
Let me know how you are doing? I'll talk to you later...Micki
