The heated humidifier we talk about here is an inline humidifier that connects into the hoses on your CPAP, not a room humidifier. It is essentially a small water tank on top of a hot plate with a hose inlet and a hose outlet.
You can get one at virtually any supplier of CPAP equipment. If you are insured and your doc recommends one, your insurer may pay for it.
They really work well for most people. I couldn't use a CPAP without my humidifier.
