As I will not attempt to predict the comming of the messiah (and the history of those who have in the past is very poor), and I think that mankind will contiune to do very well (and probably be well established in space by then).

I think that OSA will indeed be known 1000 years hence - but that the treatment will be much more effective so that when it occures that it can be redily solved with a very high rate of effectiveness. I would be surprised if there were CPAP machines for ordinary use 1000 years from now (although some form may exist for temporary / emergency use).
