When I had to rent a oxygen concentrator the rent was $400. a month and my portion with insturance was $80. a month and I could not afford it. I called every equipment supplier and told them how much I could pay, and they said OK to $15 a month.
Check around and see if there are any who are willing to make a deal, they would rather get something than nothing , they don't want their rental equipment sitting on a shelf. As far as the doctors go each hospital has a certain amount of free work they do, check them all.The rest you can arrange payment, my hospital did most do.
