This is one of my favorite mysteries. BPH is very definitely a clinical entity. I Think is is misdiagnosed many times by some docs due to their lack of knowledge of the dynamisc of OSA.
one question to differentiate is whether the bathroom trips decreased AFTER cpap. if so, then it is likely the bph was not there to start with.
Your doc may not be aware of this.
I know all about this. My BPH went away afyer CPAP and Saw Palmetto.
Would like to hear back on this.
