Posted by Tiggaroo on January 10, 2001 at 18:16:47:I just finally got a copy of my sleep study from last summer and I am wondering about these results. I read how many hypopneas per hour and how low my O2 saturation fell and all this means nothing to me without something to guage it. I guess some of this stems from my pulmonologist basically blowing me off and telling me to come back in two years, like my sleep apnea isn't bad enough to follow closely. I don't know what to think. Does anyone care to share their test results? Also, does anyone know how long the diagnostic part of the study should ideally last in order to get accurate readings?
My results say I had respiratory disturbance index of 65.5 events per hour and my desturation was "to a low of 79%." Also, I guess I was titrated (just answered my own previous post, duh!) to a pressure of 11cmH2O.
Is this good, bad, luke warm??? Any ideas?
