Thats the way my study was conducted. 1/2 the night to record the sleep study information and if you have sleep apnea they put the mask on and figure what pressure will stop the apneas. The advantage to a one night study is I got the cpap machine the next day. It sounds like it can take quite a while if you need to have a two night study.
