Thanks for your input. Your post brings to mind another question that you may be able to help me with.

You mentioned "rainout". I have a humidifier, and have recently stopped using it, (still attached but not turned on), because of the moisture that gathers in the mask, (and pillows), and drips onto my face, (or into my nose), as I try to sleep. Is this rainout? Is this something a "hose sleeve" would help? And who makes the hose sleeves, or where can I get information about them?

Boy, now that I have found this forum, I feel like I have spent the last 8 years in the dark! I am used to the idea of knowing more than my family doctor about OSA, but then I come here and find that I really know next to nothing at all!

Seems I have a lot of reading to catch up on.
