I was thinking that high blood presure is something that nobody would think is serious, except that a lot of medical experience and studies show that it is. A lot of people apparently still think high blood pressure isn't serious, since they continue to run the ads. Sleep apnea is similar; it's not obvious how dangerous it is, but lots of medical experience shows that it is. This may help in an argument.
Also, I saw a videotape on sleep apnea put out by Respironics that might be good to show to your boss or HR person. Something like this could be available from a sleep center or your CPAP supplier. See what's available and review it/them before showing to anybody.
