You can't...

Most DME's will refuse to work with anyone who does not sign a paper saying that you are responsible for anything the insurance Co does not pay.

Depending on your state, and the agreements the Insurance Co has with the DME you may have more rights than that.

Also, you should tell them not to call you at work. I believe there are federal regs protecting you from harasment from bill collectors. But you will need to check on that also.
