Even if you signed anything that says you're responsible, it may be void under the laws of some states.

I've been ordering supplies from the CPAP man, who I found somewhere on the internet (perhaps through this forum). He's selling my CPAP for ~US$700.00, even though my DME said that it would cost ~US$1,200.00

My DME was a preferred provider, and furnished it at no cost to me. However, my insurance is not covering supplies, so I must comparison shop.
