What if your insurance company refuses to discuss the matter with you and won't even give you a copy of the detailed coverage for DME? My co-pay for DME is supposed to be 20%. BUT the insurance company contracted with the DME to charge a much higher price for their policy holders so I end up paying more like 50%. Now, I had to purchase a humidifier and the DME told me the insurance company contracted for a LOWER price than the real price and I am being charged 20% of the insurance company's rate AND the difference between their rate and the actual price. In the end I am paying MORE than the insurance company! Doesn't this just totally explain why the insurance company will not provide any details about what my 20% coverage means?
