Not sure if I have the same mask - it is a Mirage by ResMed and Australian company, but it could be. The exhaust blows straight down the chest. After 18 mnths of this mask I have not found any answer other than to keep the duvet right up to my chin. It is certainly not quiet - and everything is fitted properly. It is quite comfortable and does not leak if the straps are left fairly loose.
