I was using Flonase and also experienced a bad taste and smell after using it. When I asked my doctor about it he said that it was caused by the alcohol in the nasal spray. I asked him if there were any sprays that didn't contain alcohol and he gave me some Nasacort AQ to try. Nasacort AQ has cleared me up and it has no smell or taste when I take it.
