Failed sleep study

Posted by Frustrated on April 01, 2001 at 10:36:35:

My first sleep study was last night. I could not get to sleep to save my life. Plus it was Daylight's savings, so lost an additional hour. I had palpitations all night. I have a problem with these, but never this much! I tossed and turned and tried to sleep. The tech said after about 2-1/2 hours, "What's going on? We're running out of time." The pressure was on and no way could I sleep after that. Plus, two other people were having a conversation half the night (I think they were techs). At the end, my sleep tech said that it was uncommon to have someone in the lab that couldn't sleep. More common was people adjusting to the mask.
