Planes and condensers

Posted by bknight on April 04, 2001 at 12:56:29:

Before the insurance company paid a small percentage for my oxygen condenser and I had to buy the other percent, my provider would set me up with a machine whereever I was flying to at no cost. Now I pay $100+ (insurance won't cover this as they've bought me a machine..Ha!) for that same arrangement rather than lug my machine through airports. Anyone have an easy solution to this problem without it costing so much? Do you UPS or is there a special medical handling so I'd feel safe shipping this way too expensive machine on the plane?
