I never did get the wonderful feeling of being very alert and full of energy that I still dream of. I can remember days of particular sleepiness that make me realise I am doing a whoe lot better tho. The improvement was rather slow and steady for me. Wouldn't notice it except for memories of fighting to stay awake at the wheel which doesn't happen anymore.
Sometimes I think my family and coworkers have noticed a much larger difference than I see.
Probably my tendency to want it to be perfect instead of just better...
Don't lose your optimism! It will get better!
