how to explain apnea to others

Posted by boy on June 10, 2001 at 12:07:43:

hi,

I was just diagnosed with sleep apnea, and I'm wondering how I go about explaining my condition and my (eventual) use of CPAP (I still need my titrations done).

I have a younger brother, age 11, and when I go back home, he's going to eventually see me with the CPAP on.....and i"m wondering if anyone knows of a kid friendly web site or a simple way to explain osa/cpap to a little kid.
