very sleepy

I have been on my machine for abt 8 months now. I think I am "compliant" (whatever that really means). My problem is I am not sure it is doing any good. I have not had the return of boundless energy, I have not lost any wieght, my mouth is so dry I have to peel my cheeks from my gums every morning (yes I use a heated humidifier). My DR. is not really helpful I had to educate him on apnea.

Maybe I am just being a crybaby but I am frustrated and want to know if any one else has gone through this.
