(First; generous friend used his own credit card to order me a hose :) nice)
Now, CO2? don't think there's a problem exhaling, maybe I'm wrong. Isn't a HIGHER pressure more difficult to beat? trying to exhale against that pressure isn't easy. My pressure is fairly low - only 8. However it might as well be nothing because I really can't feel the air in my lungs the way I did at the start. It hardly feels like anything at all. It might as well be a nice breeze on my face really. Wouldn't exhaling be so much easier under a lower pressure? It feels like there's little resistance from the incoming air.
As for raising the pressure, I could look into it, but my last titration was in december, which was also my FIRST titration study after the autocpap trial. The pressure was raised from 7 to 8 at that point. Usually the waiting list for my doctor is 3 months but I'll see what I can do to get something a little sooner for something like this.
Note: chin strap - they didn't mention any mouth breathing during my first study or the titration. I wear a dental appliance as well as the cpap, for severe teeth grinding problems. I wonder if this is any sort of concern they didn't notice??
