Let me guess...Your Doctor in your diagnosis said that you would lose weight with the new found energy you will have with compliance to CPAP! My Doc told me the same. I have been compliant going on 2 years and the great weight loss has not happened on its own. Although when I diet and excerise now I do loss instead of gaining weight which for me was so depressing. I have lost a few pounds on a nutrition program sponsored by Hospital near by my home. In this program I learned alot about my eating habits and found that I didn't lose weight in the past because I was not eating in proper intervals and my carb intake was alot higher than it should have been. The diary of what I ate did help. I just find it hard to do alot of the time.

Perhaps you can talk to a nutritionist and see if what you are eating is correct for you! And remember that eating is only half the battle. The dreaded excerise must be done too! I have been faithful to twice a week but I am looking to up it to 3 times when I find that extra hour in the day to do it! Hope this helps.
