G'day Keith,

Hang in there. I have only been on CPAP for 4 months, and I sometimes wonder if I am progressing. Especially as I fell into a dead asleep in front of the TV last night. However, if you look back on what things were like before you started on CPAP, I am sure you will notice some differences. For me, I fall asleep (nap) far less often than I used to, but there is still some way to go. And I am more awake during the day (well, most of it).

I am sure I am paying back a sleep debt of 20 years standing just a little at a time, but I am paying it back I think. (The wedding photos show dark rings under my eyes, and they are still there 20 years later).

Regards,
Geoff (in Melbourne)
