My machine is set from 4 to 20. Sometime in the middle of the night it ramps up to as high as 17 on some nights, on others it dosen't. In general it hoovers around 9 to 12 which corresponds well with one of my titrated pressures of 12.

The Resmed factory states that it is designed to use this way. For me it works. For others it may not. IF you do set it to high you won't reduce your average pressure as much as you could and throw away some of the benefit of autopap.
