Posted by Inflated by CPAP on June 26, 2001 at 08:28:13:Can anyone tell me if BiPAP can help with the problem of swallowed air? I've tried raising the head of my bed, with little help. Reducing cpap pressure helps with the bloating, but then OSA symptoms increase. It seems like the higher the CPAP pressure I use, the better my head feels the next day, and the worse my torso feels, in terms of both gas pains and back/shoulder pain. Would appreciate knowing if bi-level treatment can help, or hearing of anything else that has helped any of you. Thanks!!
