(1) If you're not getting enough air into your lungs, maybe you just need the pressure increased, which may mean an AuotPAP and/or another sleep study.

(2) The non-CPAP options forums have many entries about surgery. Reading maybe the last 3 or 4 non-CPAP options forums and "the best of" section should give you a lot of info.
