Your RT is partially correct. Any time you spend on the cpap is better than nothing. But the objective is to maximize the usage -- like all the time even when napping. Many of us have a hard time keeping the mask on at first but usually manage to keep it on all the time after a few weeks or less. If you're going on several months you should have have increased the time by now. Why are you taking it off in th emiddle of the night and not putting it back on?
